REALITY TV star Charlotte Crosby may be known as a proud Geordie, but she says Manchester more than matches her home city when it comes to the nightlife.
And so she couldn't be prouder that her fiance Jake Ankers has now opened his first restaurant and bar in his home city of Manchester, in the form of the very glitzy new venue Maya.
Jake has partnered on the new bar with Scottie Bhattarai, CEO of Isabel in Mayfair. Jake says he firmly believes that Maya now 'brings a little bit of Mayfair to Manchester' and that it fills a gap in the market for a high end but fun option for dining, drinking and dancing Naturally, Charlotte agrees too.
She says of the new three-floor destination venue: "I think it's absolutely beautiful, it feels very exclusive and intimate, it's like the hotspot to be, the place where you want to be getting a reservation."
Jake adds: "The way I sum it up is Manchester meets Mayfair. With Scottie already owning Isabel in Mayfair, we've really implemented a Mayfair brand in Manchester now. It makes the venue quite special."
The couple hosted one of a series of launch nights held at the venue over the course of the past week.
