BENJAMIN Mendy had a 'predatory look on his face' before he allegedly tried to rape a woman at his Cheshire mansion, his accuser claimed.
The woman, who has alleged that Mr Mendy attempted to rape her at his home in October 2018, gave evidence in a police interview played at his retrial.
The footballer, who played for City at the time of the allegation, has pleaded not guilty.
He also denies an allegation of rape made by a second woman.
Jurors at Chester Crown Court have been told that the 28-year-old Frenchman was found not guilty of other sexual allegations at a previous trial.
On the second day of the case, the jury of six men and six women heard a video recording of an interview the woman, known as Woman One, gave to police.
