AN ANGRY driver chased after another motorist, forcing her to stop in the middle lane of a motorway - before jumping on the bonnet of her car during a road rage row.
Craig Prunty, 39, brought fast-moving traffic to a halt when he threw a temper tantrum at the wheel of his BMW 5 Series, after he crashed into a set of road bollards when the victim pulled out in front of him.
Initially, he stopped in the carriageway to exchange details, but was seen throwing the bollards aside before shouting 'what the f*** are you doing?' at her. Then, when she drove off in fright, he followed her along the M56 between junctions 6 and 7, near Hale Barns in Cheshire, before drawing up parallel to her Kia Nero car as they were travelling at speeds of up to 50mph.
