Neighbours in shock after stabbing horror

AN eerie quiet hangs over Albert Fildes Walk in Cheetham Hill.

On Saturday night someone was stabbed outside an address on the street, with police being called to the scene at about 10.30pm.

A cordon was put in place around a property in which there were three forensics tents, one white and two blue.

Police were still at the scene yesterday afternoon, as some members of the local community began arriving at a mosque. The community has been left shocked by what happened.

A man in his 20s is understood to have been taken to hospital.

Police have not made any arrests at this stage.
