Pep's pull means it won't be as easy to get players when he leaves the club

ONCE again, City are looking unlikely to lose many players this summer.

Sergio Gomez has already departed and Kalvin Phillips may be the next biggest name to go, but early-summer fears that Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez, Ederson, and Kyle Walker could all walk out of the door have eased.

There may still be movement, but none of it looks likely at the moment.

On top of that, the squad has been boosted by commitments from some of the younger members. Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb have both dismissed the idea that they could leave and James McAtee has spoken about a changed mindset after two seasons on loan at Sheffield United.
