Terror on streets in gunshots probe

RESIDENTS heard 'arguing and shouting' before reports of shots being fired during an incident.
Forensics in white suits were seen combing a residential car park between Broughton Lane and Camp Street in Salford for evidence on Tuesday following the incident yesterday evening.
Officers were searching under cars and trawling the ground before a bullet casing was found. Greater Manchester Police said they were called to reports of a gunshot.
A witness who lives beside the scene has told of the moment he heard 'voices shouting' at around 4.30pm yesterday. Moments later he heard a shot which 'sounded like a firework.
