TWO towns in Greater Manchester have been named amongst the 'best areas to live' in the UK in 2024.
The Sunday Times has once again released its annual guide of the Best Places to Live, now in its 12th year, with each location chosen by experts.
This year's guide highlights 72 areas across the UK that have impressed the judges. After visiting each area, the panel assessed every factor, from schools, transport and broadband speeds, to culture, access to green spaces and the health of the high street.
Last year, the publication picked Ancoats, Sale and Stockport to feature on the list, with Prestwich, Altrincham and Levenshulme being named in previous years.
