Rashford's form has nosedived in the past five months and some sections of the dressing room feel the United forward is drifting through games. United supporters voted Rashford the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year in 2022-23 after he scored 30 goals but he has tallied a meagre four so far this term.
The 26-year-old was fined two weeks' wages - around £650,000 - after he was pictured embarking on an alcohol-fuelled trip to Belfast last week. Rashford was also effectively dropped for the FA Cup win at Newport County as he declared himself fit on the morning of the game and offered to travel to South Wales.
