Having taken London by storm, New York-born coffee chain Blank Street has opened its first shop outside the capital - and it looks right out onto the Gardens. Starting off as a grab-and-go coffee cart in Brooklyn in 2020, its expansion has been rapid. Boasting more than 40 sites in New York alone, the concept, with its unmistakable pale green frontage has become instantly recognisable, and now as it expands into the North its Instagrammable aesthetic may just been one of the prettiest things about Piccadilly Gardens.
Inside a clean and minimalist interior awaits. Complemented by stylish tan-coloured banquettes, and Ikea-esque lampshades, the focus is on the drink preparation and a glass counter full of sweet treats including vegan cinnamon buns, banana bread and matcha cookies.
