PENSIONERS are ‘frustrated’ after losing hot water to their sinks for EIGHT weeks in their independent living centre.
OAPs at Aldbourne Close, Collyhurst, a complex of 30 flats which allows the elderly to live independently with emergency pull-cords, say they’ve not been able to get hot water in their taps for two months.

One resident told the Manchester Evening News she pays £18 a week for hot water on top of a three-figure rent on the assisted-living pad.
But instead, water that comes gushing out of the taps on her sink struggles to being ‘tepid’.
