Institutional funds in housing up 46%

India's housing market attracted an institutional investment of $1.15 billion last year; it was 46% higher annually, as investors looked to encash strong demand for residential properties, according to real estate consultant Colliers India.

Institutional investment in the housing segment stood at $788.9 million in 2023, said the report.
