Siemens Gamesa said on Wednesday that it is selling its power electronics arm to ABB, including its Indian assets for an undisclosed sum. The unit designs and manufactures converters, inverters and control cabinets for wind, solar and storage industries, Siemens Energy said in a statement. The generators business of Gamesa Electric will not be included in the agreement and will remain with Siemens Gamesa, it added.
