RCPL forays into the hydration segment with the launch of ₹10 Raskik Gluco Energy drink, eyes mass market
Suneera Tandon

Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the wholly-owned consumer products arm of Reliance Retail Ventures, on Monday launched Raskik Gluco Energy, marking its entry into the hydration category. Priced at ₹10, it is set to intensify competition in mass-market beverage segment, dominated by Tata Consumer Products, PepsiCo, Dabur and Coca-Cola.

In 2023, RCPL had acquired beverage brand Raskik, which was founded in 2019 by Vikas Chawla, the former managing director, south east Europe, at Coca-Cola. The brand initially offered fruit-based drinks and coconut water.
