Georgia Mann and Petroc Trelawny, who will present this year’s Last Night of the Proms to listeners on BBC Radio 3 on Saturday night, say Wonderwall is the perfect song for an orchestral arrangement.
Petroc said: “It would be quite a coup, Oasis with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Albert Hall. But we could only charge £8 for a standing ticket.” Georgia said: “No dynamic pricing here!”
The Proms has already broken new ground this year with cross-over performances from artists such as Sam Smith and Florence Welch.
