While dismissing the bail plea, the court considered the reply filed by the Delhi Police and the fact that a case was against the accused for absconding.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Sushil Kumar dismissed the bail plea of accused Jaiveer alias Jassu on October 29.
"Keeping in view of the above discussion as well as facts and circumstances of this case and also considering the seriousness of the offences alleged against the applicant/accused Jaiveer alias Jassu, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the accused at this stage," ASJ Sushil Kumar said in the order dated October 29.
The court observed, "In the present case, no recovery of cheat money has taken place to date. Further, the accused was declared absconder on 06.04.2024 as he was evading his arrest and he had absconded."
