Jharkhand recorded a voter turnout of 29.31 percent as of 11 am in the first phase of Assembly elections, according to the data of the Election Commission of India.
Till 11 am, the Khunti district recorded the highest voter turnout of 34.12 percent while the Ramgarh district recorded the lowest turnout of 24.17 percent, as per the data of the ECI. Khunti is followed by Gumla with 33.86 percent turnout, Lohardaga with 33.44 percent, Simdega with 33.18 percent, Seraikella-Kharsawan with 32.65 percent, Koderma with 31.10 percent, Latehar with 30.59 percent and Garhwa with 30.38 percent turnout. The turnout recorded for Chatra is 29.52 percent, Hazaribagh is 29.60 percent, West Singhbhum is 29.42 percent, Palamu is 28.36 percent, East Singhbhum is 28.34 percent and Ranchi is 24.75 percent.
