This translates to roughly 8,500 units sold compared to 6,700 units during the same period in 2023.
The report defines luxury housing as properties priced at ₹4 crore (approximately $500,000) and above. DelhiNCR, Mumbai, and Hyderabad emerged as the top performers, accounting for nearly 84% of total luxury housing sales in the top seven Indian cities. Notably, Pune saw a remarkable surge in luxury home sales, with a near six-fold increase year-on-year to around 1,100 units.
