Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed China’s release of a contested “standard map” asserting control over Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin, terming the situation “extremely serious.” Gandhi accused China of seizing Indian territory in Ladakh and called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the issue.

Gandhi, speaking to reporters before heading to Karnataka, stated, “Having just returned from Ladakh, I’ve been asserting for years that the PM’s claim of no land loss in Ladakh is an outright lie. Ladakh unequivocally acknowledges China’s occupation of our land.”
