The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has provided funding for the Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital as part of its corporate social responsibility obligations. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratisthan (BAVP), located in Aurangabad, will oversee and run the hospital. Speaking at the inauguration function, Puri said the hospital is expected to improve the healthcare services for the people of upper Assam as well as other parts of the Northeast.
