The 30th South African Music Awards (#SAMA30) was a night filled with pride, celebration and exceptional musical achievements.
Held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand and broadcast live on SABC 1 and SABC Plus, the event drew South Africa's biggest stars across music, TV and film, as well as cultural icons and industry leaders.
Hosted by presenter Minnie Dlamini, the ceremony was a tribute to three decades of South African music history and 30 years of democracy and freedom.
At the forefront of the night's triumphs was Tyla, South Africa's Grammy Award-winning international pop sensation, who took home four awards.
Tyla's self-titled debut album won her accolades as Ukhozi FM Female Artist of the Year, Santam Newcomer of the Year and Best Pop Album.
These achievements were topped off by the prestigious International Achievement Award, acknowledging her growing influence on the global stage.
Already recognised at major international platforms such as the Grammys, BET Awards and MTV Music Awards, Tyla has added four Samas to her trophy cabinet, making her one of the most decorated stars in South African music history.
Her success was matched by the amapiano duo Kabza De Small and Mthunzi.
