110 kg fake fried chicken seized in Hyderabad

In a major crackdown on food adulteration and unsafe food practices, the Hyderabad Food Adulteration Surveillance Team (H-FAST), along with Food Safety officials, raided an unlicensed fast-food godown in the Charminar area and seized a large quantity of adulterated food material.
“Acting on credible information, the team conducted a surprise inspection at M/s Al Akbar Fast Food and Godown, located at New Laad Bazar, Panch Mohalla, under the limits of Hussainialam Police Station. Officials found that food items were being prepared, stored and supplied under highly unhygienic and hazardous conditions, posing a serious risk to public health.
