DELHI POLLS: AAP TAKES EARLY STEP, ANNOUNCES -1ST LIST

In preparation for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, scheduled tentatively for mid-February to March 2025 (with dates yet to be announced by the Election Commission), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal has taken an early step by unveiling its first list of candidates.

DELHI POLLS: AAP TAKES EARLY STEP, ANNOUNCES -1ST LIST

The party has named 11 candidates, including six turncoats, for the elections.

Prominent names in the list include Brahma Singh Tanwar, Anil Jha, Deepak Singhla, Sarita Singh, BB Tyagi, and Ram Singh Netaji. The candidates were finalised during a meeting of the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) held earlier in the day at the residence of AAP’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal. The meeting was attended by Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and senior leader Gopal Rai.
