India Leaves an Incredible Mark on Global Politics in Kazan
The Daily Guardian|October 26, 2024
This week, it is all about India for leaving an incredible mark on global politics by adding a new chapter in diplomacy and multilateralism.
Anshu Joshi

On one hand, India played a critical role in setting the roadmap for the future for Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa (BRICS) in its annual summit held in Kazan, Russia, this week. On the other hand, it engaged in an unexpected formal bilateral talk with China to find out the solutions to the border issues between both nations. India had earlier played a significant role in BRICS to make it BRICS+ with the addition of six (6) new permanent members last year. Narendra Modi gave a crucial message of keeping human-centric development at the center while working on all objectives ranging from sustainable development to fighting against terrorism and radicalism. From fighting the war of global terrorism to promoting cultural connects, from boosting the economy to ensuring sustainable development, from opening new avenues of collaboration in the areas of education, agriculture, and technology to infrastructure development, women-led development, and more, the BRICS brings a whole gamut of opportunities for those nations who want to grow.
