MAMATA SEEKS EQUAL SHARE OF TAXES

In an apparent bid to strengthen the State's claim for an equal share of taxes taken by the Centre from the States, the Mamata Banerjee Government in West Bengal has decided to prepare a detailed list of Central schemes under which the Union Government did not release funds to the State in the past few years.
