Karishma SainAn intimate dialogue between personal memory and artistic expression, the exhibition Unwritten Letters by Ganesh and Santana Gohain invites viewers into a world where individual journeys unfold through intricate layers of texture, surface, and narrative. Curated by Georgina Maddox and presented by Gallery Art Positive, this twin solo show dives into the distinctive yet interconnected artistic practices of two prolific contemporary artists.
The Artistic Dialogue
Though their styles and mediums differ, both Ganesh and Santana Gohain's works resonate with shared themes rooted in their Assamese heritage. Each artist brings their own approach to exploring personal and socio-cultural narratives through abstract and figurative art. Curator Georgina Maddox aptly explains the dynamic between the two: "Though their practices are deeply personal, the exhibition brings out their shared yet distinct cultural connections, giving the viewer insight into the complex layers of memory, identity, and creation."
