A friend introduced him to Trivedi, who convinced him to invest in his company with the promise of a 30% return. Shedge agreed and gave Rs 81 lakh by cheque and Rs 29.5 lakh in cash to Trivedi. An agreement was made as well.However, when Shedge repeatedly asked about his investment and the promised returns, Trivedi refused to provide any information. He also threatened Shedge and used abusive language when Shedge went to meet him. Realising he had been cheated, Shedge filed a complaint at the Sinhagad Road Police Station. Sub-Inspector Amol Malusare is investigating the case, and the incident has caused a stir in the industrial area of Khandala taluka in Satara.
