The inspection commenced with a High Speed Run on the Yeola-Kopargaon section.
Further the General Manager inspected Curve no. 141 on UP direction at kms 456/427 to 455/707 and LHS on the Kopargaon-Kanhegaon section followed by detailed inspection of the Godavari Bridge no 439/1 at 439/3-7 kms between Kanhegaon and Puntamba stations.
At Puntamba station, an important junction for Shirdi bound trains, the General Manager inspected the Lobby, Running Room, ASM Panel Room, Relay Room and Electronic Interlocking installation.
He also inspected the Small Track Machines and Ultrasonic Flaw Detection machines as part of the Innovations on Display.
RPF dog squad Chetak and Vardhan provided a display of their narcotics detection capacities being used successfully in the field.
