We experience life through three states of consciousness: waking, dreaming, and sleeping. In the waking state, we perceive the world through our five senses. These senses, more profound than their objects, provide joy and connection. Yet, their limitations remind us of a greater truth: the mind, infinite and vast, shapes our desires and experiences. Greed, lust, and delusion arise when we overemphasize sensory objects, the senses themselves, or the concepts of the mind. These attachments cloud our perception of the infinite consciousness within us.
