A petition has been filed in the National Green Tribunal (NGT) demanding daily updates on Air Quality Index (AQI) and water pollution related to the incineration of Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) chemical waste.
The petition, filed by Nagrik Upbhokta Manch, Jabalpur, and PG Najpande, also calls for the release of daily water pollution reports specifically for Pithampur.
