The skies dominated the narrative at the Gabba as rain and bad light forced the third Test between India and Australia to end in a draw, leaving the five-match series tantalizingly poised at 1-1.

A day washed away Starting day five at 252 for nine, India was bowled out for 260, conceding a lead of 185. In a brave and aggressive move, Australia declared at 89 for seven in their second innings, setting India a target of 275 with at least 54 overs remaining. However, intermittent rain and bad light interrupted the game multiple times, with play eventually being called off after India reached 8 for no loss in just 2.1 overs.
