Bhopal District and Sessions Court has issued an order to give compensation of Rs 68.61 lakh with 6% annual interest to the family of government school assistant teacher Jagdish Chandra Verma who died in a road accident on Indore-Bhopal Highway. Judge Prahlad Singh Kamethia passed the order.The compensation amount will have to be paid jointly or separately to the heir of deceased by the insurance company and the driver and owner of the car that caused the accident.Jagdish Chandra Verma was riding a bike on September 13, 2023. At about 12 noon, the driver of car (MP 04 CH 3253) hit the bike on Indore-Bhopal Road in front of the poultry farm under Kotwali Sehore police station area."In the accident, Jagdish Chandra Verma died," said advocate LB Yadav who appeared on behalf of the victim.
