Two persons, including a homeopath, were arrested with drugs (MD drugs and cannabis) worth Rs 5.57 lakh from a city hotel, police said on Wednesday. The accused were planning to supply the drugs to the youths during the New Year parties here.
According to DCP (crime) Rajesh Tripathi, information was received that two persons would deliver the drugs to the youths during parties and they were seen in Hotel Midland Inn in the Tulsi Nagar in Nipania area. A team of the crime branch raided the hotel and caught two men from a hotel room.
