60TH GREEN CORRIDOR| 3 corridors prepared to transport vital organs to Airport and to 2 different hospitals of the city
Our Staff Reporter

The hands of a 68-year-old city businessman Surendra Porwal (Jain) will give a new life to a 26-year-old man from Mumbai who lost his hands after being electrocuted. Porwal's liver too gave a new lease of life to a 67-year-old female of Mumbai and to four other needy patients.

This was made possible after his family decided to donate his vital organs after he was declared brain-dead on Sunday night. Moreover, this is for the first time in the state when both the hands of a brain-dead patient were donated.

Hands and liver of Porwal were airlifted to Mumbai in a chartered plane while his kidneys were transplanted to two patients in two different hospitals of the city.
