HYDRAA to become more active in New Year, plans ready: Ranganath

Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) Commissioner Ranganath clarified on Saturday in a press meet that it would become more aggressive in the new year. He said that groundwork is being done on the boundaries of the lakes and that HYDRAA will be active as soon as there is clarity about the boundaries.

He clarified that the lakes will be developed and simultaneously illegal structures will be demolished after the FTL is determined. He said that 15 HYDRAA teams are ready for this. HYDRAA was formed on July 19, 2024, and awareness on FTL and illegal structures has increased, he said.
