Iran

On October 1, 2024, Israel launched airstrikes targeting Iranian military facilities, including missile development sites and nuclear infrastructure. This action was in retaliation for an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israeli territory earlier that day, which Iran claimed was a response to the assassinations of leaders from Iranian-backed groups, Hezbollah and Hamas.
