Led by Dr. Krishnakant Sahu, Head of the Heart Surgery Department, the procedure involved replacing a damaged heart valve with a titanium metallic prosthetic valve and repairing the tricuspid valve.

Following the surgery, the patient's condition is stable, and she is under close observation by the medical team.

The patient, a resident of Mahasamund, had been experiencing severe shortness of breath and palpitations for the past three years, making even minor physical activities difficult.
