Now, the farmers are relieved of irrigation water concerns, while villagers will have drinking water during summer. Along with irrigation, the issue of water for the cattle has also been resolved.
The minor irrigation department has constructed 176 minor lakes for irrigation purposes, which include 78 village lakes, 23 irrigation lakes and 75 percolation lakes. It has helped to improve the water scarcity situation in the district and the water level has also increased.
