Even as two days prior to Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled an extension of health insurance coverage for all individuals over 70 years old, two major constituents of the INDIA Bloc went to town with their reactions.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh on Tuesday said the "Ayushman Bharat is impractical" as it would not benefit a "single resident" of Delhi on account of the numerous eligibility criteria included in it.
The Rajya Sabha MP said even people who "own a refrigerator, a motorcycle, or have an income above Rs 10,000" cannot avail ofthe benefits under Ayushman Bharat.
