'Bollywood introduces India to the world'

Her mesmerizing, million-dollar smile has been employed to characterize the evil spirit of Manjulika in the recently released Kartik Aryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the film that has raked in unbelievable moolah at the ticket windows. And Madhuri Dixit Nene is all smiles, as she sits down with The Free Press Journal for an exclusive tête-à-tête.

"I had never done a horror-comedy before. The genre attracted me, honestly speaking! My entry in the film, the point at which it is placed in the narrative, the actual story takes off from there," stresses Madhuri.

But apart from the commercial success, as indeed the creative aspects involved, Madhuri is glad that the Indian cinema has come a long way, in terms of the technical finesse, the way things are structured in an absolutely professional setup, and how Bollywood represents India's culture globally.
