Have you ever thought about where the electricity that powers your home comes from?

One of the ways we create electricity is by using wind energy. Wind turbines - those tall, spinning structures you might have seen - capture the power of the wind and turn it into energy we can use. But did you know that engineers are always looking for ways to make these turbines work even better? Surprisingly, the humpback whale, a giant creature of the ocean, helped us improve how wind turbines work!
