Sinha told Anandani that a film was being made on Nirbhaya and she could be selected for that. He leavened his pitch with details of the other characters in the upcoming project and set up a meeting in Juhu. The second meeting was in a coffee shop, where he asked if she would be willing to allow 'Amitabh Bachchan's photographer' to take a portfolio picture of her.
It would cost her Rs 6 lakhs. Once that was done, she would get the role. Something made the social media influencer suspicious. She called up the production house to confirm the antecedents of the accused. When she found out that there was no one with that name in the production house, she reported the fraud to the Juhu police.
After this, the third meeting took place in JW Marriott, Juhu. That is where the police arrested the trickster.
