Days after ED raid, couple found hanging

A businessman and his wife allegedly hanged themselves in Ashta of Sehore district on Friday on the heels of an ED raid at their residence on December 5.

SP Deepak Kumar Shukla said businessman Manoj Parmar and his wife Neha were found dead in their house in the morning. A suicide note was found at the spot.

The incident has sparked a sharp exchange between the opposition Congress and ruling BJP. The Congress claimed that the Parmars were supporters of the party and the ED was harassing them over their political leanings.
