After CBI failed to submit chargesheet against former RG Kar College principal Sandip Ghosh and Tala police station former OC Abhijit Mondal, both were granted bail by the sessions court in Sealdah over rape and murder incident of junior medic on August 9.
The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) granted bail to both Ghosh and Mondal on a security bond of Rs. 2,000 each. The court also instructed both Ghosh and Mondal to be present before the central agency whenever they are called.
According to court sources, the central agency officials said that the investigation into rape and murder charges is still going on.
