On the night of October 4, unidentified individuals allegedly damaged the Gandhi statue in Lake View Colony, Pragathi nagar. Following a complaint filed by Jagga Madhu Sudhan Reddy, a case was registered, and an investigation was promptly initiated.
After this incident came to light, people speculated that the act may have been carried out by someone under the influence, as several intoxicated individuals are often seen near Pragathi Nagar Lake during night time.

MHADA's Konkan Board gets 4,420 applications till Nov 7
