Justice Mauna Bhatt on Wednesday dismissed a plea to halt the demolition, allowing the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to proceed with its notice issued on October 16, 2018.
The court found that the fifth and sixth floors of the building were constructed using a forged No Objection Certificate (NOC) to secure approvals from the AMC. Despite multiple notices and five sealing attempts, the structure continued to be used, prompting the court's decision to greenlight the demolition.
