Mumbai hits 45% of season's average already

Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and Thane starting from Saturday and continued to do so well into the early hours of Sunday, resulting in widespread waterlogging in several low-lying areas. The deluge submerged bridges across rivers, blocked roads and disrupted transport services. Railway services were particularly affected, with waterlogging on the tracks between Karjat and Panvel, causing long-distance trains to be re-routed.

The intensity of rain has increased significantly since last week, resulting in frequent disruptions in transport services.

On Sunday, heavy rainfall in Thane district created a flood-like situation, prompting the closure of several river bridges and cutting off connectivity to many villages. Residents and tourists in Shahapur, Murbad, Badlapur, and Karjat faced difficulties returning home because of road closures and confusion over diverted routes.

All eyes on crucial FOMC meet next wk

The story looks the same: buying the dip strategy has worked in the past, and it continues to work, but it is dangerous to believe that every single dip in a bull market will get bought because, at some point in time, it could reverse and when it reverses it doesn't announce and come but taking a quick snapshot view, where are we at, the setup over the last few weeks looked a bit exhausted and up days were not as strong in terms of momentum and participation.
