Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha witnessed multiple adjournments on Monday amid slogan shouting and protests from both the Treasury and Opposition benches over multiple issues. While the Opposition demanded discussion on the Manipur violence, the farmers protests in Delhi and Adani issues, the BJP raised the issue of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's alleged links with US businessman and Modi-baiter George Soros, in the process drawing sharp protests from the Congress and other parties.
Before the Houses convened, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju while talking to the media raised the issue of Sonia's alleged links with Soros and demanded that all the parties should speak up if their leaders work against the nation's interest. He said "the links between Sonia Gandhi and George Soros are serious".
