To stop factionalism in the Haryana unit ahead of the crucial assembly election, the Congress high command has recalled veteran warhorse Ashok Gehlot to strategise the poll war. Like in the past, the Grand Old Party has bestowed its faith Gehlot's acumen.
However, political the kahani mein twist hai. Gehlot will be accompanied by the party treasurer Ajay Maken, and both on the leaders hardly have had any eye contact for quite some time especially during Gehlot's last term as chief minister of Rajasthan.
Gehlot and Maken, along with Pratap Singh Bajwa, have been given the responsibility of senior observers in Haryana assembly election.
