IIM Raipur, CG Police to combat human trafficking

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chhattisgarh Police, paving the way for a comprehensive and strategic approach to combating human trafficking.

The MoU, signed at the Chhattisgarh Police Headquarters, aims to address human trafficking through policy development, prevention, and victim rehabilitation, underscoring a collaborative approach that leverages both academic insights and law enforcement expertise.

Under the agreement, IIM Raipur will conduct extensive research to understand the root causes, socioeconomic impacts, and rehabilitation needs of trafficking survivors.
