'Killing Kirillov not a good idea'

Keith Kellogg, US President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for special envoy for the war in Ukraine, said Wednesday that the assassination of Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, for which Ukrainian intelligence has claimed responsibility, was "not a good idea at all".

In an interview on Fox News, Kellogg said that while the killing of Kirillov is not a "setback" for Ukraine, "there are rules of warfare, and there are certain things you just don't do".
